The Charlie & Carter Foundation
Our chosen charity and one in which Director Angela Todd holds proud position of Trustee. The CCF provides much needed financial support to the families of seriously ill children with life limiting conditions along with raising awareness of the importance of organ donation.
The Chloe & Liam Together Forever Trust
Set up in honour of South Shields very own Chloe & Liam who tragically had their lives taken away so soon along with 20 others in the Manchester Arena attack. The trust aims to help others through what Chloe & Liam loved most.
The Customs House
Serving the residents of South Tyneside and beyond it offers a varied programme of live performance, cinema, visual arts along with projects for children and young people. Situated on the banks of the River Tyne within in the conservation area of Mill Dam here in South Shields it boasts a restaurant, private dining, and an events suite.
Hebburn Helps
Winners of South Shields Gazettes Pride of South Tyneside 2019 Awards for Community Group of the Year, was the brainchild of dynamic duo, Angie Comerford and Jo Durkin. A Community Food Bank & Crisis Response Centre it is here to help anyone who may need it, regardless of situation. Offering guidance and support they are only a phone call away.
Adopt My Street
The Goldfinch Team fully supports ‘Adopt My Street’ scheme, which aims to build stronger communities by creating positive change in the local environment.
The Litter and Laugh Walk
Lastly, our very own community project is The Litter and Laugh Walk. An award-winning project which brings the community together to combat the ever-growing problem of litter pollution.
